The Make Happy Club Box #9 (Warning contains spoilers)

Hello, Hope you have been having a lovely Christmas – on the 1st of January it won’t just be the start of a brand new year, but also a new Make Happy Club project to stitch!

I decided that we should start the new year off as we mean to go on – with positivity and growth!

In total this year (2021) as a community we have raised £696.00 in donations for various charities! We might be a tiny stitching community but our impact is mighty! So, whether you have been a Make Happy Club member since the very beginning or if you have just recently joined us – THANK YOU! Inspired by the idea of freshness and renewal in the new year – I wanted this months project to have lots of florals but with a rainbow twist of positivity as we enter 2022.

So, it is full of tiny little details, flower buds, daisies and leaves. Hand drawn by myself in an abstract style to create a modern floral rainbow!

We will be using a vibrant palette of embroidery floss colours this month and embroidering onto lovely thick cotton fabric. The design like always comes printed onto the fabric ready to stitch so there is no need to trace anything, all you need to do is stitch. Everything you need to complete this kit is included in the box. Once completed you will be able to hang up your design in its hoop to grace your walls as a piece of lovely home décor or gift to a friend.

The rainbows in this months design are also influenced by our chosen charity for January!

Every month £3 from each box is donated to a different charity and in January we will be donating £3 for each Make Happy Club box sold to the LGBT Foundation via the work for good platform.

This month’s charity is pretty personal to me– the LGBT Foundation is a national charity that provides advice, support and information services to the LGBT community. This is invaluable not just for members of the community but also for allies and friends and family members too. This support is really important in helping to create equality within society and also aiding mental health within the LGBT community.

If you choose to subscribe this month then you will be actively helping the LGBT Foundation to continue their work supporting the LGBT community and their families in the UK.
